Librairie La Palpitante

La Palpitante is a bookshop located in Mens, on the Place de la Halle.

In short, it's a... general bookshop that covers the entire French publishing landscape, with a focus on quality and attentive, well-informed advice. Special attention is given to comics, children's books, poetry and independent editions. Local visual creations (postcards, posters, editions) are also welcomed.

At least once a month, artists, poets, readers and musicians of all kinds are welcomed for small, exciting events, with highlights in the summer months...

You can enjoy Yeah coffee, roasted in Mens, Mémé's herbal teas in the nettles, while munching artisanal cookies, on the terrace in fine weather and at the counter all year round.

In early May, POPODAÏ, a poetry, poetry, dance, improvisation and image event, takes place around the bookshop. On May 8, in the center of the Foire aux Plants, there's a market for poetry, images and pottery.
